Was thrilled and honoured to attend the Childline Ball in London on 26 September. The charity, established in 1986 by Esther Rantzen is a counselling service for children up to the age of nineteen. It is available 24/7 and helps around 2,500 children a day although the demand is much higher. The annual childline ball 2019 was sponsored by Masterchef UK and £808,182 was raised for the charity. I together with another four Masterchef winners designed the menu for the evening and I was thrilled to see an auction prize that Jilly, Delia and I offered to cook for 8 persons raise £7,500.
