On the 16th July 2021 I was invited to cook with culinary archaeologist Jerolyn Morrison of Minoan Tastes for the archaeological team excavating at the Minoan site of Mochlos.  We cooked the way Minoans did thousands of years ago in pots made  by Jerolyn.  The dishes were chicken with dried figs and grape molasses,  lentils  flavoured with honey and vinegar and lamb in soured milk cracked wheat (xynochontros).   Such fun and the team of thirty loved it all!  We even had an enthusiastic student as a sous chef!
